Create your organisation
Enter your organisation name and choose a subscription tier. You'll be assigned the Admin role automatically. You can change your organisation name later in Settings.
Step 2 — Invite your team
As the organisation Admin, navigate to Settings → Team Members → Invite Member. Enter each team member's email address and select their role.
| Role | Best for | Key capability |
|---|---|---|
admin | Team lead, IT | Full platform access including billing and SSO |
manager | Engineering manager | Task assignment, team analytics, sprint management |
engineer | Developers, QA | View and work on assigned tasks |
customer | External stakeholders | Submit requests and track delivery status |
Step 3 — Configure engineer profiles
Accurate engineer profiles are essential for high-quality AI assignments. Ask each engineer to complete their profile under Profile → Skills, or managers and admins can edit profiles directly.
Each profile includes:
- Skills — select from the organisation's shared skill library (e.g.
Python,React,PostgreSQL,AWS) - Seniority —
junior, mid, senior, orprincipal - Weekly capacity — available hours per week (default: 40)
Step 4 — Import tasks
You can create tasks manually or import them from your existing tools:
- Manual — click New Task anywhere in the app
- Jira — go to Settings → Integrations → Jira and follow the setup guide
- Linear — go to Settings → Integrations → Linear and authenticate via OAuth
- GitHub Issues — go to Settings → Integrations → GitHub and select your repositories
Step 5 — Run your first AI assignment
Once tasks and engineer profiles are set up, Munera can suggest assignments automatically.
Open a task in pending_assignment status
Any newly created task is ready for assignment.
Click "Assign"
The AI ranks all available engineers by skill match, workload, and seniority fit, with a confidence score and explanation for each suggestion.
Confirm or override
Select the suggested engineer or choose a different one. The assigned engineer is notified immediately and can accept or decline.
Enable auto-assignment (optional)
Go to Settings → Automations to have Munera assign tasks automatically as they're created, without manual intervention.
